Conley Car Wash & Detail

POOR Service !!

First, I want to say that I worked at a full service car wash in college and my manager demanded we do a job we'd be proud of. I have been to Conley a few times over the past year and I have been severely disappointed! It is clear the manager doesn't care how good of a job his employees do. And they are by no means customer oriented. Let me review my last experience. I drive up and approach the vacuums. However, I am actually several car links back because a big pickup truck stopped right in front of me to talk and visit with one of the employees. The guys/gals back at the vacuums could see I was behind this truck. They were just hanging out in the vacuum lanes and didn't even care to wave me over. I didn't know if only one lane was being used (the one the truck was in) or not... I got tired of waiting behind the visiting truck and drove around to one of the other lanes. The employees couldn't take my order!!! What the ???? They had to wait for the employee chatting with the pickup truck driver to take my order. Finally, I got to talk to him and tell him I want the Basic. I gathered a few of my things and went inside. I don't have children or pets to soil/mess my SUV, so the vacuuming is a piece of cake. I later discover that they knocked a piece of protective plastic off one of my chairs and leave it unattached!! Inside the business is nice like one reviewer said, but I am not there to lounge around. My SUV finally comes out. This one very young, small and short 'girl' worked on my vehicle. She was very lackadaisical (sp) with her work. All she was doing was drying my car. I thought she was just there to dry, then someone else would come behind her and actually clean my windows inside and out with windex. She just took her sweet little time drying my car... It was as if she had all the time in the world! Then she grabbed the key and brought it up to the porch were customers wait. I couldn't believe it. I said you didn't clean my windows; she said "you just got the Basic"; I said 'the Basic should come with you cleaning my windows. Let's go check with your manager." She said "oh, I'll go ahead and clean them for you." She was so small and young (and not wearing proper business car wash attire!!!) that she couldn't reach to clean the outside of my windshield and the inside of my back window. I even had to show her how to clean the inside of the front windshield. After I left, I called the manager and told him that at least one of his employees doesn't know what their services are. The manager seemed more interested in watching the live football game than about my complaint. This carwash business is a JOKE! They hire college or high school kids who want to socialize and 'look good' than wash and clean your car. Don't waste your money !!!
