Before I took my vehicle to 4M Automotive I did not have any problems with my window, but as soon as I drove off my backseat window was coming down and I could not roll it up. They had spent an execessive amount of time working on my vehicle, and it seems to fit that they were spending time breaking something on my car so they could charge me for an extra job. Although I cannot prove they did this to my window, it seems pretty obvious since there was nothing wrong with it before I got there.

I'll go ahead and warn everyone to stay away from this place. After I moved to San Marcos, I was forced to find a new mechanic for my car that often gives me problems. I had an great machanic before so this came really unexpected to me. I was refered to 4-M by another mechanic. I spent over a month without my car as they were "trying to figure out" what was wrong. Now, it does frequently have all kinds of electric/ignition problems(which are hard to diagnose on that particular model) but it has never taken more than a few days for me to get my car back and running (with my old mechanic at home). This place decided to take their sweet time. Every time I would go up there, no one would be working on the car so it took me multiple visits and phone calls for them to actually start doing the job. Finally one day I show up there to see if they had any progress and I get informed that my car is "fixed" and that it cost over 1100$. I was shocked. NOT only they DIDNT inform me about the repairs they were going to make, but they went ahead and replaced nearly half of my ignition system including modules, sensors and ignition housing...JUST because their computer diagnostic said there was something wrong with each of those parts (which is complete BS because I've tested most of the parts on my car and tried replacing them in years past which did no good!!). My car isn't ever worth a 1000 dollars and i was forced to pay more than that. Worst service, shady machanics, and now after two weeks my car is having MAJOR igniton problems again..and it's barely drivable as Im forced to find a new mechanic once again. I wish I would have just worked on it myself after school let out. Would have been faster and more effective. Simply stay away from 4-M.
